✶ EMPATHY/TELEPATHY: So Cole has the ability to sense the thoughts and feelings of people, especially those connected to any sort of hurt. Memories they'd rather forget, past traumas, anxiety... That sort of thing. He can go to surface level thoughts as well as old, deep, buried memories, so good luck keeping secrets from him. Hell, don't be surprised if he replies to things you haven't said yet. Don't be worried about him using this information for gossip, though. He wants to help and if telling anyone else about this wouldn't help, he won't talk about it. Or just if anyone asks him not to. ✶ FORGET: In canon, Cole can make people just completely forget him. In LifeAftr, it's a lot less powerful than that, restricted just to minor alterations to someone's memory. So no, he's not just gonna make CR forget him entirely all of a sudden. And with repeated use on someone, it will lose effectiveness. This is only limited to memories of himself, too. And this is where the permissions come in. So, the questions I have for you in this post! Can Cole read your characters mind and feelings? Fairly straightforward, can this weird spirit boy just get right in there. If yes, how deep can he go? Maybe you're fine with Cole reading your character's surface thoughts, but you'd rather he stay away from deep dark secrets. Or maybe it's the opposite, I don't know, I'm not your mom. Just tell me your preference. If you're fine with maximum privacy invasion, that's also cool. Can Cole talk about what he knows? Even if you say yes to this, don't worry about Cole just blabbing every secret your character has or anything, that'd be super uncool. But he might read your characters' mind out loud in front of others, or mention things with no context to a third party, or just talk vaguely about your character's hidden pain (like that they have any). Really, just, let me know if this is cool or not so we can get all our bases covered. Can Cole make your character forget? This will really be limited to small stuff, so he might make someone forget they briefly saw him, or possibly try to back up in a conversation. Nothing too big. |

If yes, how deep can he go? AS DEEP AS HE WANTS tho Ouse had/has a similar power (it's been nerfed here tho), so if she's aware she'll probably immediately try to shut him out. The effectiveness of this can be case-by-case tbh.

Also due to being a customizable protag she's got a lot of things that I have made up to fill in gaps and flesh out other things so if you need more meat so to speak let me know and I can help you out!

Asriel's Deep Dark Closet Skeletons largely involve really personal things about other characters here, so I'd rather not have things that affect them hugely getting out unless they want it. Cole might also notice that Asriel... doesn't really have feelings. They'll feel a lot more faint and distant than most people, since he's technically back to being soulless again.

I'd really like to keep her godhood secret for now, but it may come up in later months, when their CR develops. We can hash it out together, methinks?

If yes, how deep can he go? He can go as deep as you'd like, but be warned that Soma has multiple lifetimes of very unpleasant and dark memories, due to 900+ years of Dracula being reincarnated.

Can Cole talk about what he knows? Yes but Asch will react REAL BADLY if he knows about it. Not so much because he doesn't want people to know things about him as because he's just a very private person with twitchy suspicion triggers, you get?
Can Cole make your character forget? I would prefer not but would also like to note that, since Asch is related to memory magic himself (even if most of it is nerfed away), it might work oddly or not at all.
One More Thing: Just in Caaaaaaaaaaaaase, Asch has a psychic bond to his replica, Luke, who isn't here right now but Who Knows What Castmates Might Appear in the future. It's usually low-key unless they're actively using it, but Cole might be able to sense it anyway (especially if/when a Luke is actually here).
