☄ PERMISSIONS

✶ EMPATHY/TELEPATHY: So Cole has the ability to sense the thoughts and feelings of people, especially those connected to any sort of hurt. Memories they'd rather forget, past traumas, anxiety... That sort of thing. He can go to surface level thoughts as well as old, deep, buried memories, so good luck keeping secrets from him. Hell, don't be surprised if he replies to things you haven't said yet. Don't be worried about him using this information for gossip, though. He wants to help and if telling anyone else about this wouldn't help, he won't talk about it. Or just if anyone asks him not to.

✶ FORGET: In canon, Cole can make people just completely forget him. In LifeAftr, it's a lot less powerful than that, restricted just to minor alterations to someone's memory. So no, he's not just gonna make CR forget him entirely all of a sudden. And with repeated use on someone, it will lose effectiveness. This is only limited to memories of himself, too.

And this is where the permissions come in. So, the questions I have for you in this post!

Can Cole read your characters mind and feelings? Fairly straightforward, can this weird spirit boy just get right in there.
If yes, how deep can he go? Maybe you're fine with Cole reading your character's surface thoughts, but you'd rather he stay away from deep dark secrets. Or maybe it's the opposite, I don't know, I'm not your mom. Just tell me your preference. If you're fine with maximum privacy invasion, that's also cool.
Can Cole talk about what he knows? Even if you say yes to this, don't worry about Cole just blabbing every secret your character has or anything, that'd be super uncool. But he might read your characters' mind out loud in front of others, or mention things with no context to a third party, or just talk vaguely about your character's hidden pain (like that they have any). Really, just, let me know if this is cool or not so we can get all our bases covered.
Can Cole make your character forget? This will really be limited to small stuff, so he might make someone forget they briefly saw him, or possibly try to back up in a conversation. Nothing too big.

If yes, how deep can he go? Kid doesn't have much in the way of mental defenses or anything, Cole can probably get a bit deep. Just let me know if it's anything like, super deep.
